In 2003 my husband and I moved to Cypress from Oklahoma City to teach in the Cy-Fair ISD. I was hired to teach Freshman English at Cy-Falls and he was hired to teach science at Goodson Middle School.

Since we weren’t hired until the middle of the summer it was a mad dash to find a house for us to move into. We had looked at Longwood, but couldn’t find anything in our price range which was available to be moved into immediately so our real estate agent suggested Stablewood Farms since the same developer that created Longwood was working on it.

We moved in at the end of July and have loved our house ever since! As first time home buyers we feel incredibly lucky to have decided upon this sub-division. We love our house home and can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Just a quick update:

Site registrations have increased signifcantly over the last few weeks. We currently have just shy of 30 verified members on the site and forums and another 30 which are probably legit. I’d also like to thank the members who are making the forums much more lively than this front page!

The changes made last year look to be working fairly well. Spam to the forums and to the comments has been completely obliterated. However this isn’t to say that the spammers aren’t trying. The new filters have caught just shy of 12,000 spammy messages.

We’re getting lots and lots of signups from Russian and Serbian IP addresses. In the cases where I’m positive an account has been set up as a dormant spam account I’ve taken the preventitive measure of deleting it and sending out a confirmation email to all registered users asking them to respond to verify their account.
