UPDATE:
The first electrician that inspected the system said repairs on the pool could cost from $6,000 - 8,000. This seemed extremely costly. So Laquita contacted one of Spectrum’s preferred vendors, Live Wire Electric, to inspect the electrical system in the pool area
Live Wire Electric installed two new breakers at a minimal cost. The water fountain, restroom light, pool lights and fans should now be operating properly.
Please let Laquita know if you notice that the lights, fountain, etc. are not working properly and she will do her best to resolve the issue as quickly as she can.
ORIGINAL POST:
They’ve put up a notice on the official site about the pool. I don’t know if this means that the pool is closed for repairs but:
A master electrician was called out to determine why the water fountain, women’s bathroom lights, pool lights and fans weren’t working.
He determined that there was a short or a broken line between the sub-panel and main panel. This short is either underground or under the foundation and could end up being quite costly to repair.
Spectrum is in the process of soliciting bids and from there they’ll determine who’ll be hired to fix the problem.
Hopefully, everything will be fixed withing a week or so.
